Cascada de Pineta

Los Circos de Pineta and Lalarri are the great curved northern vertices of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. Here the slopes, heights, cliffs and peaks share centre stage with water. The trail is long and has a steep gradient, but the Balcon de Pineta offers one of the best panoramic views. Before you reach the Parador de Bielsa, a bridge crosses the river Cinca. This bridge commands a view of the Pineta waterfall, a stunning natural display of rock and water. This is the starting point for the steep climb to the Balcon de Pineta. It's worth the effort: the view from the top is unbeatable.

Location
The Pineta waterfall is located in the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, in the north of the Iberian Peninsula in the heart of the Pyrenees. It is part of the province of Huesca, in the Autonomous Community of Aragon. The most usual access route is by the N-260, which connects Sabiñanigo and Ainsa. From the town of Torla, there is a local road that leads to La Pradera.
