This resort is justifiably a member of the exclusive club of "The Leading Hotels of the World." Founded in 1898, it was a meeting place for the aristocracy of Valencia. Today, located by the sea on the beach that gives it its name, this grand hotel has managed to combine the architectural beauty of the nineteenth century with the luxury and comfort of modern times. Its facilities include a spectacular swimming pool built by the architect Domenech and inaugurated in 1933, which is the only pleasure pool in Spain made out of steel.
