A Mudejar-style building, designed by Domenech i Montaner for the headquarters of the Montaner Simor publishing house, has been the home of this Foundation since 1990. The façade is crowned by an original sculpture titled Nube y Silla - Cloud and Chair - work of Tapies himself. More than 300 paintings, plus prints and sculptures, make up the museum's collection, including the Serie Materica produced during the Fifties and Sixties.
