The spectacular Jurassic Museum of Asturias, Colunga, stands in an area shaped like a giant three-toed footprint, a tribute to the many dinosaur remains found throughout the province. There is a lookout point which offers fantastic views of the Jurassic Coast stretching from Tazones (Villaviciosa) to Camangu (Ribadesella), with dinosaur footprints scattered for its entire length. Inside, the museum offers an imaginary journey into prehistory, with elevated walkways and an open space that invites you to imagine a lost world far beyond Spielberg's fictional vision. The museum provides information about guided tours along the coast organised by the councils of Ribadesella, Colunga and Villaviciosa.
