Getting there
The Sierra Nevada National Park is in the south of the Iberian peninsula, between the provinces of Granada and Almeria in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
From Granada, the A-395 leads to the Pradollano ski station and Veleta peak. If you follow the A-44, which joins N-348 at Lanjaron, you can reach the Park via the Alpujarra region, which crosses the whole of the south side of Sierra Nevada. The A-92 and then, from Guadix, the A-337, leads to the Ragua pass.
From Almeria, the Park is reached via the A-92 and then at Benahadux, the A-348, which crosses the Alpujarra in Almeria.
