La Alpujarra Alta
A trail that leaves from the Pampaneira Visitor Centre and runs through the best preserved villages of the  Alpujarra in Granada, including Pampaneira, Bubion, Capileira and Trevelez.

Genil Trail
Sets out from El Dornajo visitor centre, en Güejar-Sierra, 23 kilometres from Granada. You can drive as far as the meeting point of the Genil with the San Juan creek and then take La Vereda de la Estrella path, which is about three kilometres. At the end, there is a view of the summits of  Mulhacen and Alcazaba.

El Marquesado trail
Leaves from Los Moralillos visitor centre (Tel. 958 34 51 81),  two kilometres from Jerez del Marquesado, and passes through villages such as La Calahorra, Aldeire and Lanteira.

La Ragua trail
Leaves from Valor. Offers panoramic views of the Contraviesa mountain range, finally reaching La Ragua pass, at 2,000 metres which links la Alpujarra with Marquesado. From Laroles you can see the Mediterranean through the cleft carved by the river Adra.

River Andarax Trail
Scenic trail through the Alpujarra in Almeria. Leaves from the Laujar de Andarax visitor centre (Tel. 950 51 35 48), and leads to the recreational area at El Nacimiento.

El Ubeire Trail
Crosses the northern slopes of the Sierra Nevada in Almeria via the towns of Abla, Abrucena and Fiñana.
