Fauna

Among the the birds of prey that overfly the rocky cliffs, home to the chamois, are the golden eagle, Bonelli's eagle and the eagle owl. The pine forests provide shelter for the black grouse, one of the rarest birds in Spain. But the real jewels of Ordesa must be the endangered bearded vultures.
