The marine-terrestrial ecosystem is home to one of the largest Spanish colonies of yellow-legged gull and shag, as well as many many other seabirds. The park has been declared a Special Protection Area for birds (SPA). In the cliffs can be seen peregrine falcon, alpine swifts, crows... And in the island's interior, robins, blackbirds and wrens, among others.
The most common mammals are rabbits, hedgehogs, otters, and shrews. There are few amphibians but an abundance of reptiles. Fish, molluscs and crustaceans inhabit the waters off the islands.
