Each season offers a different view of the Doñana park. All of these are important, and each offers its own attractions. However, late autumn/early winter is one of the best times to visit. There are fewer visitors and the temperatures are usually very pleasant. It is also a good time to observe the birds who over-winter in the park - one of the particular pleasures of Doñana.
It is advisable to book in advance for the companies who make the SUV tours as places are limited.
Binoculars - which can be hired at the park - are practically an essential to observe the wildlife.
All the Visitor Centres have removed architectural barriers to make them more accessible. The footpaths are provided with wooden surfaces and the observatories have wheelchair access.
The visitor centres offer a selection of maps and pamphlets in Braille.
