Best time to visit

• Year round, except summer when part of Las Tablas dries up awaiting the rainy autumn. During the other seasons, the nesting birds can easily be seen and heard.

Tips

• Access to the park is free. However, fro the public area, free guided tours can be arranged by phoning the visitor centre.
• There are various wildlife observation points set along the foot trails.
• Choose your timing carefully. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times for observing wildlife.
• Binoculars and field guides will help you identify the different animals and birds.
• The park offers a trail suitable for wheelchair users.
