From the fishing town of Aguilas to the white dunes of El Mojon beach in San Pedro del Pinatar, stretch miles and miles of solitary beaches and coves awaiting the bather, the sailor, the fisherman and the diver on the coast of Murcia.
Along the Costa Calida - "the warm coast" - the harsh mountain landscape extends into the very edge of the sea. Among oleanders, prickly pear and wild palms arise charming old fishing villages and garden towns that contribute so much to the local cuisine. A tour of this coastline should include fishing villages such as La Azohia, bustling harbours such as de Mazarron and Cartagena, natural paradise beaches such as Calblanque and Calnegre. Here, too, we find one of the Mediterranean's most well-equipped resorts: La Manga del Mar Menor, a tourist destination between two seas offering a complete range of hotel infrastructure and services.
