Getting around

Santiago de Compostela is a small city with tourism focused in the historic central district. This means that the best way to discover the city is on foot. If you want to leave the main monument area, it's best to use the town bus service (www.tussa.org); the 16 bus routes, including four circular routes - connect all parts of the city. There is also a taxi service with taxi ranks situated throughout the city and a Radio Taxi service (tel. +34 981 56 92 92). A tourist train offers visits around the old town.
