Early spring and from June to September are the best times to visit Valencia. A visit in March should coincide with the Fallas firework displays, and an Easter trip should offer pleasant weather for spending time at the beach and the chance to get a head start on the suntan. The summer months offer all the attractions of a typical seaside destination: beaches, nightlife and many coastal towns to explore. The city centre is lively and offers a wide range of cultural activities, especially in July and September. An off-peak visit in winter or autumn may also have advantages as the art centres and cultural organisations offer interesting events and there are special low-season offers in hotels and restaurants.
