In spring and autumn. During April the orange trees are in blossom and the streets and squares are impregnated with the characteristic sweet smell. March and April also see the most important fiestas of the city: Holy Week and the April Fair. Summers in Seville are extreme with temperatures in July and August not dipping below 40º C.
