Toledo
Out on the town

The night, especially in summer, is one of the biggest attractions of Toledo, offering the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the carefully illuminated city. It is also a chance to stroll through quiet streets and alleys in search of the 'ghosts' sought by writers such as Gustavo Adolfo Becquer or the Generation of '27 (Lorca, Alberti, Dali, Buñuel ...). There are several programmes available for discovering the Toledo night, besides the evocative night trip on the Zocotren. In winter, the city also enjoys a thriving nightlife along all week long, but with particular emphasis between Thursday and Saturday. Art-Cafe (plaza de San Vicente), Broadway Jazz Club (Alfonso XII), Camelot (Alfileritos), Dodici (corral de la Campana), El Callejon del Gato (Trastamara), El Gallo (Silleria), El Picaro (Cadenas), El Temple (Soledad), El Ultimo (arco de Pasajes), La Abadia (plaza de San Nicolas), La Cala del Ron (Costa Rica), La Destileria del Whisky (Silleria), La Luna (Mimbre), O'Brien's (cuesta de las Armas) o Palacio Sancara (Alfonso X el Sabio) are some of the venues to explore.
